PRATIGYA: A SIESCOMS Initiative

The SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS) was promoted by SIES in 1995 specifically to cater to the growing need of management education in India. It is the prime constituent of its academic complex at Nerul. Over a period of time, SIESCOMS has been catering to the needs of various segments of management education aspirants. Come January all the SIESCOMites will join hands together for a common cause.

PRATIGYA is a campaign initiated by the students of SIESCOMS, to support the Governments ban on smoking in public places. The ideology aims to create awareness amongst the masses about the ill effects of smoking in public places and its impact on society at large.
In conjunction with Pratigya, a city wide campaign raising awareness about the ill effects of smoking in public places is to be launched. SIESCOMS invites you to render your support for this Nobel cause.

The campaign has by now received a jump start in its initial phase. The State Health Ministry has appreciated this initiative and has extended its worthy support to the cause.

I think the social responsibility is on the shoulders of the us youngsters and we have to take the first step towards awareness...be it against terrorist attacks or ban on public smoking and related issues!
Once again, lets take this opportunity to support SIESCOMS to bring awareness in the minds of the public!!!

I agree we the people of India need to show our high caliber...not only in the area of IT and entrepreneurship but also in all actions to outlaw the evil effects that lead to under utilization of our youth resources!

We as the new age managers need to create a brand new Indian within us who not only has both, sense and courage to say NO to smoking, alcohol and other such habits.

Junta, let's take this act ahead to support the ban on smoking at public places initiated by the Government of India. Let's take this oath, this PRATIGYA to direct as well as passive smoking...

SIESCOMS ROCKS!

Well, it sounds great and yet another initiative.....but, who cares a damn about this smoking ban. In India, rules are made just to decorate the pages of the statutory book after all ours is the world largest democracy on the planet earth. Where people decides what they want and how they want. If anyone tries to interfere then he can swear for his lives. I would suggest this college guys to concentrate on their studies as examinations are near approaching fast. And for all those shameless smokers I wish them good health.
